Learn how to create a whole set to show off at your next dinner party! Using molds, slabs and coils, you will create a 3 piece set for one; A large plate, small plate and bowl. You will also be able to create a chip and dip set OR dinner platter, and slab mugs!

In these handbuilding specials courses you will use various handbuilding techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch. Sometimes combining techniques to make specific projects both functional and/or sculptural. The use of molds and templates will sometimes facilitate your process, and attention to surfaces, carving and negative spaces will liven up your forms. Students will also explore glazing techniques and learn how to apply Cone 6 glazes onto their work. Each participant will receive Cone 6 clay, and all firing and materials are included in the course.
