This is an 8-Week Ceramics Course with Clara Hodges. Open to all skill levels, whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your skills, this course offers a welcoming and creative space to learn and grow. This class covers essential hand-building AND wheel-throwing techniques, including pinch, coil, slab work, and working on the wheel. You’ll learn how to create a variety of functional and decorative pieces. Students will also explore glazing techniques, learning how to apply Cone 6 glazes to bring their pieces to life. Each participant will be working with Cone 6 clay, and all firing and materials are included in the course. To support your learning, you’ll have access to Open Studio hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 1 PM, providing extra time to practice independently.
