This is an 8 week introductory wheel throwing class. You will learn the whole process of making an item from start to finish on the wheel. This includes wedging and centering the clay, throwing, trimming, as well as making items such as mugs, cups, bowls and plates. You will have the opportunity to throw on both an electric wheel and kick wheel. When enrolled in this class you are able to use the studio during Open Studio days on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-1pm. Open studio time is for you to practice the skills you have learned in class, independently. No experience is necessary, all skill levels welcome, this class may also be repeated and Emily will skillfully meet the needs of all levels.
